CHRIS GOOD · MARKETING EXECUTIVE [email protected]

Chris Good. Half marketer. Half machine shop.

The short version

10+ years in B2B software. 50+ launches across AI, developer tools, and enterprise SaaS, into North America, Europe, the UK, and DACH. Promoted at three companies after expanding past the role I was hired for. At Sonatype I grew the product marketing org from 1 to 7.

Category positioning and demand engines on one side; production AI agents I build and ship myself on the other. Most marketing leaders outsource the second half. I don't.

The move
Marketing as the company's own reference customer

Ran marketing as the company's own reference customer.

EverWorker sells AI workers. So I built production agents inside the marketing function and turned every program into a live demo of the product: content production, competitive monitoring, lead enrichment, forecasting analytics. The product sold itself on the job.

606posts in three months. One content agent

In production
Content production, competitive monitoring, lead enrichment, forecasting analytics

Defined by GitHub Copilot and Cursor

Doubled a Fortune 500 account with a webinar program.

A category defined by GitHub Copilot and Cursor. I positioned the enterprise tier on security, on-prem, code privacy, and IP protection rather than feature parity, and built a 40+ session webinar program that became a top inbound channel for the company.

100%+seat expansion at a Fortune 500 semiconductor

The account
Trained 100% of licensed users in two months. That's what drove the expansion
The program
40+ sessions, 100+ live attendees, a 4,000+ engaged enterprise viewer base
Coverage
Ran the entire marketing function solo through team turnover. No drop in cadence

Sample work

Ten pieces, both halves.

Posts from the EverWorker blog under my byline, the guides that shipped beside them, and the on-camera work from Tabnine and EverWorker. All of it from the years the numbers above were happening. The demand side reads on cream. The machine side reads on black.

Featured · May 2026 · First person One BDR, 153 meetings, $12m pipeline: how the headcount math broke The quarter the math stopped working: one human seat, an SDR agent behind it, and pipeline that went 2, 4, 8, then 12 million. Same seat, more capacity, no new req.
